    It's that time of year! Road and Bridge crews will begin clearing high country roads mid-April! It's the Department's goal to have all roads open by July 4th, but mother nature sometimes has other plans. Updates will be posted as they are available. High Country/4x4 Roads Opening Update
Road Maintenance Update for July 16-19
Crews will be doing a gravel project on County Road 5 from the Ridgway town limits to County Road 24. Crews will be removing flood debris and repairing County Road 361. Imogene Pass is now OPEN on both the Ouray and Telluride sides. Beginning on May 14 continuing through July, crews will be doing a retaining wall repair project on County Road 361 at Senator Gulch (approximately 3.5 miles up from the intersection of County Road 361 and Hwy 550). One lane traffic is expected through the area Expect short delays.
