The Ouray County Assessor's office is responsible for discovering, listing, and valuing all properties in the county. The Assessor's office is required to re-establish a home's appraised value every two years.

While the Assessor's office determines the value of property it does not set the amount of your taxes. Property taxes are set by mill levy and collected by the County Treasurer.

The County Assessor's office is located behind the County Courthouse on 6th Avenue. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
